 I have only positive things to say about Jonathan Nissman and the Phoenix Mechanical Corp. Jonathan clearly knows the air conditioning business since he was a teenager, and is very different from many contractors we interviewed. He returned phone calls promptly, was available for consultations, answered all our questions as they came up and closely monitored the job.
His crew, Willie and Chris, were great. Competent, business like, and very respectful guys. They came on time every day; were very clean and neat as they went about the installation, and we felt comfortable leaving them in the house. I watched much of the job as it went along and they really know what they are doing.
We put a dual zone system into a 1932 Tutor with no closets. One conventional and one Unico. After living in our 3 upstairs bedrooms with window units for 9 years, we now have our whole house available in the summer. Our electric bill is actually smaller with the new system than with the window units.
We had consulted with 3 contractors. Jonathan's prices were very reasonable, about the same as Home Depot, but we felt we got a much better job working with a small business where you get more personal service.
