| A comprehensive Home Energy Assessment is perhaps the most important step you can take in reducing your energy bills and creating a safer, more comfortable indoor environment. Our BPI accredited technician will evaluate a wide array of vital systems and conditions in your home which will include: |

Carbon Monoxide Levels & Gas Leaks (health and safety). |

Air Infiltration rates (how much cold and hot air escapes into and out of your home through holes in the buildings floors, ceilings, attic and basement). |

| Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an invisible and odorless gas produced by incomplete combustion in your heating appliances (furnace, boiler, domestic hot water heater, oven). If these appliances are not venting properly or the appliance is producing higher than normal levels of carbon monoxide, then you and your family may be exposed to this toxic gas. Low levels of CO can cause a myriad of health problems while high levels may be fatal. A comprehensive home energy assessment will measure the CO levels in your entire home, measure the CO levels being produced by your combustion appliances and check to make sure these appliances are venting outside properly. |

| How is a Comprehensive Home Energy Assessment Done? |
|
| The assessment, depending on the size of the home, will take between 2 – 4 hours. Complete measurements will be taken of your homes dimensions and a visual inspection of your home’s exterior will be conducted. This data will be used later for a complete analysis of your home’s energy efficiency using state of the art computer modeling software. Next, our technician will conduct a series of tests using a variety of diagnostic tools to measure, and evaluate carbon monoxide levels, air infiltration rates, heating and cooling system efficiency, domestic hot water system efficiency, distribution systems, lighting and major appliance efficiency. |

| The Final Report |

| Once all of the data has been collected, our staff will enter this information into our computer modeling software to generate a detailed report regarding your home’s performance. A follow up meeting will be scheduled, so our technician will be able to explain the results which will inform the home owner of the following: |

| What are the incentives? |

| Depending on how many improvement measures the home owner chooses to implement, Zero to low interest loans are available or up to a 25% cash rebate on the cost of improvements. New incentives and programs are being implemented regularly so please inquire with Phoenix as to what incentives are currently available. |
